Divine Rapier cannabis strain is the outcome of our experimenting with how far genotype improvement can go when modern technologies are involved. Hawaiian Snow is among our favorite classic rarities, a three-way cross between Neville Haze, Pure Haze and Hawaiian Haze. Crossing this pineapple-smelling tropical wonder with a wonderful cutting of Afghani Kush was done to create a productive strain with blossoming period and height halfway between its parents’! The result was potent and flavorful, which meant that such a genetic combination is promising. With the help of specially programmed AI, we analyzed the profiles of both parent strains as well as their progeny to outline how further selection process should be organized to promote the desirable features. Then the busiest and most complicated part followed: numerous back-crossings were interchanged with new phenotypes crossed between each other. The calculations turned out right: eventually, Rapier was bred  — “so powerful, it cannot have a single owner”©. Combining Afghani, Laos and Hawaiian landrace genetics, Divine Rapier boasts a rich piney scent with fruity undertones as well as an outstanding psychedelic power.

Originating from such different families, this cannabis inherits confidence and immunity. Tests in different types of soil, in hydroponic setups and in outdoor plantations show that Divine Rapier is universal and reveals its versatility when grown under variable conditions. In a few words, natural soil is advised to enjoy its aromatic qualities to the fullest, while from non-soil bushes the heaviest, most resinous and heavily stoning buds can be expected. Outdoor Divine Rapier samples were the trippiest, in their turn! Indoors, such a plant requires training to control its height as well as canopy width. Through the vegetative stage, this marijuana develops a strong stem 150-175 cm tall. When switched to flowering, bushes add ginger and peppermint hints to their smell. During the next 7-8 weeks, newly-formed buds will spread in massive pineapple-like chunks, sometimes bending the plant with their weight. Ripening Divine Rapier gives off an aggressive “jungle fruit” stench of such concentration that some witnesses compared it to a paint thinner! That’s no wonder if the thick moss of trichomes on colas is taken into consideration. Outdoor plants are ready for harvesting by late September – mid October.

Is it even safe for buds to be that potent? Holding a properly grown Divine Rapier bud is a warning in itself – something that smells so poisonous naturally gives a sensation of thrill! Caryophyllene, pinene and myrcene are dominant in its profile. The two parent lines behind this strain make its influence very multi-layered: like waves following each other, the user may feel completely at rest or, vice versa, communicative and motivated at different moments of the tripping session. Whatever activity will be done slowly on Divine Rapier – but sometimes that’s just the right way to enjoy your thing! Speaking of enjoyment, its Sativa heritage is responsible for aphrodisiac potential that this strain has shown. Medical values of Divine Rapier may work against appetite loss and nausea, chronic pains, Alzheimer’s, arthritis, diabetes and epilepsy. The effects last for 3-4 hours and are normally accompanied with a substantial blood pressure drop.
